Ready Georgia Overview
About
The Georgia Department of Education, in collaboration with the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency would like to recognize schools for going above and beyond in their efforts to create safe and supportive learning environments and minimize risk factors. The Ready Georgia Seal of Preparedness will be awarded to all schools who apply and meet specific safety planning criteria. The window for applications will open in September and remain open through November. Schools awarded the Seal of Preparedness will be announced in February.
